Hi,

I have a requirement where the XSL-FO is used from both programs which run in concurrent programs in Oracle Applications and also from a web based portal and needs to display company logo.

Now the logo image file is placed under OA_MEDIA folder on the server.

When I modify the XSL-FO as below the logo appears in the concurrent prog but not in web based portal as web portal doesn't hit server while generating the underlying pdf:
<fo:external-graphic content-width="70pt" content-height="22pt" src="url('{'../../../java/oracle/apps/media/infoprint_logo.gif'}')"/>

So I need to use the url as follows which works for both concurrent program and web based portal:
http://server.abc.com:8020/OA_MEDIA/company_logo.gif

I have created a variable (COMPANY_LOGO_LOC) in XML which is holding the above mentioned path.My only requirement is that I should be able to subsitute the url with the value in my variable COMPANY_LOGO_LOC.

Pls let me know in case you have any suggestion on this.

Hi Madhur,
if the XSL-FO is not generated dynamically using XSLT, but it is required to be just a static XML document, the only option that comes to my mind is using an entity reference defined in the internal DTD of the XML.
