Hi,

I just want to know how to use this Stylus tool....
I have a mainframe environment in my Sys.
Do we need to install this tool seperately to convert Mainframe flat file to xml...

Could you please let me know the code how to do this??

Thankyou.

Hi,
Stylus Studio is a Windows tool, so you need a Windows (XP or Vista) machine where to install it. In order to access your mainframe data you need an external tool that either copies the mainframe data to a file in the Windows system or allows a transparent access to it via a shell extension or FTP/HTTP connection.
At that point you can just start Stylus, browse the filesystem to pick the file you need to convert, click on the "Open using XML Converter" option and press the OK button.

Hope this helps,
Alberto
