Harpreet GangyanSubject: wild card chracter usage in XSL

I have used * as a wild card character search in a Test statement in xsl but it didn't work.

<xsl:if test="zone_desc!='*General Admission*' and contains(zone_desc,'GA*')!=1">

Please advice on this.

First, this is the XQuery forum, not the XSLT forum.
Second, neither '=' nor 'contains' does wildcards.

You need an XSLT 2 or XQuery processor to do this.
The XPath syntax can be right in the specification.
I found it by Google-ing for "xpath 2.0", opening the
W3C spec, and looking for the word "regular".
See http://www.w3.org/TR/xpath-functions/#string.match
