Hi,

I have a situation where I have some 100 items in an XML and I want to show 10 items which satisfy a condition.

Sample XML:
<response>
<doc>
<str name="ID">1</str>
<str name="STATUS">1</str>
</doc>
<doc>
<str name="ID">2</str>
<str name="STATUS">2</str>
</doc>....
<doc>
<str name="ID">100</str>
<str name="STATUS">2</str>
</doc>

I want to display 10 ids which have status =1.

Hi,

I tried this method, but I do not have exact 10 results. Also, if first 10 nodes does not satisfy the condition, I will not have anything.

Don't know what XSLT processor you are using, but if you are using any decent one and the problem is as you described, you will indeed get 10 entries (or less), no matter if the first million entries don't satisfy the condition.

I believe the answers you were looking for have been given to you.
