When I first open a file in Style Studio I receive the following error:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.rdta.tlapi.stylusstudio.TLStylusFileSystem
at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source)
at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)
at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
I can select continue and I no longer have the issue. What is causing this error and how can I correct it?

To uninstall, should I just go to programs and uninstall or is there a certain way I should unintall. When I look at programs I see two SS folders. One for Enterprise and then one for Enterprise Release 2.

It appears that the issue isn't resolved. I thought it was because I started using the File Explorer window, but when I select the "Open Folder" icon on the toolbar I receive the same error again. So this is only happening when the toolbar folder icon is used to initially open a folder.
I don't know if this helps but thought I'd let you know.

It's looking for the TigerLogic Java component.
It looks like somehow the information for more than one
version/release of Stylus Studio has gotten mixed up with
another.
You might want to try uninstalling any versions you have,
and then checking under Program Files to make sure that there
are no directories left. Then reinstall cleanly.

I did as you suggested; I deleted the Stylus Studio folder in program files and performed the install. I am still getting the same error when I use the open folder icon.

I used the latest build (build 1147f) for the install. I removed the folder from Program Files and the folder from AppData/Roaming after I ran the uninstall procedure.
The only thing left that I haven't tried is to remove the registry information as well. But I shouldn't have to do that since this isn't a registry issue.
