Hi

I cant seem to get the databse I want to open it appears in the list but it is the only one that wont open. I am connecting to our remote server which holds 5 database and the one I want to use wont show the tables.

Not sure what it can be as the same password and username allows access via ODBC in excel and Navicat.

Any ideas?

Roy

You'll need to provide some more details here; what database are you connecting to? How exactly are you doing that? And what do you see exactly after having connected to it? And what version of Stylus Studio are you running? (Help > About)

Hi

I am connecting to MySql and using the trial of Stylus Studio 2008 Build 1147c.

1.6.0_06 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM Sun Microsystems Inc.
debug mode port:8001

All the databses show apart from Y3K and I even created a new one and that works. I am now thinking the error is with the database being called y3k and it either being a fault in your softare or the database should not have a number in it.

I also created y3k1 and cant access that but test was also created and i can access that one ok.

Hi Roy,

Thank you for reporting the problem. This defect will be fixed in the next update.

Keep in mind that you can still query your database using DataDirext XQuery, simply drag& drop the database node in the xquery editor and then type a collection statement like

collection("mytable")

Hope this helps
Ivan
