In the Stylesheet documentation, i see where I can read on how to change any file into an XML field. Is there documentation that maps a flat file into XML?

XSLT can write text files directly.
Just use <xsl:output method="text"/>
See http://www.w3.org/TR/xslt#output

i can not seem to get this to work.

Here is the xslt. I know it is simple, but I am just trying to get any sort of output just to see how it works.

Here it is

<?xml version='1.0' ?>
<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
<xsl:output method="text"/>
<xsl:template match="/"><xsl:text>
This is a test
</xsl:text>
<xsl:for-each select="PLMXML/form/UserData/UserValue"><xsl:text>
Testing A Loop
</xsl:text></xsl:for-each>
</xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>

I have also attached the input xsd

Thanks

Two questions first:

1. Which version of Stylus Studio are you using?
2. Can we see your input file? It's hard to debug XSLT
without seeing the data it is being applied to.

Hey Guys

I figured it out. Here is the code

<?xml version='1.0' ?>
<xsl:stylesheet version="2.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:a="http://www.plmxml.org/Schemas/PLMXMLSchema">
<xsl:output method="text" indent="no"/>
<xsl:template match="/">
<xsl:for-each select="a:PLMXML/a:Form/a:UserData/a:UserValue">
<xsl:if test="@title = 'H_cmillustration'">
<xsl:if test="@value != ''">
<xsl:value-of select="@value"/><xsl:text></xsl:text>;
</xsl:if>
</xsl:if>
<xsl:if test="@title = 'H_problemillustration'">
<xsl:if test="@value != ''">
<xsl:value-of select="@value"/><xsl:text></xsl:text>;
</xsl:if>
</xsl:if>
</xsl:for-each>
</xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>
