We are currently entering medical claims data to sql 2000 server. We are currently researching different products and now is Stylus time. Our intention is to grab that stored data from sql and convert it to 837P file. Please advice if Stylus can make this happen and provide specific instructions on this one.

Thank you.

DataDirect XQuery, which is the XQuery component we include
with Stylus Studio, can certainly retrieve and transform the
data from SQLServer.

The DataDirect XML Converters do support X12 004010 837.
Although we do not ship the 837P in the box, it is possible
using the SEF standard to modify the supplied definitions
to generate the HIPAA documents.

We are actively working on adding full HIPAA support,
including 837P, and we would be happy to share our intermediate
results with you.
