Hi, I have a csv file and i am trying to get it converted to match a sample xml file. the sample file has a CDATA section in the url. I used the xquery mapper to connect the 2 files but it will not create the CDATA section automatically, so I had to go into the tree tab and add a CDATA section to each URL element by hand. Does anyone know how to get it to do this automatically? I have attached both the csv file and the sample xml file.

Thanks for any feedback.

Hi,
you can do it automatically by adding the

declare option ddtek:serialize "cdata-section-elements=Url";

declaration at the top of the query. If you are using the Saxon processor, replace the ddtek:serialize option with saxon:output.

Hope this helps,
Alberto

Thank you so much for the reply. I am happy to hear that it is doable however I am brand new to xml and this program so I am not sure how to do what you told me. Can you outline the process to go about this?

Hi Taron,
when you are in XQuery mapper, you can see in the lower part of the window the text being generated by your drag & drop operations; just click on that text window, move to the beginning and type the line I wrote.
