Hi i need to transform the below Dsml to an xml format.
where the attribute values of the DSML tags will be the Elements of the XML.I am very new to this xsl.
In my case the syntax <xsl:element name ={@name}> is not working

The DSML Sample I have :
<?xml version='1.0'?>
<?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="C:\Documents and Settings\sunilki\Desktop\XSLT\test.xsl"?>
<addRequest returnData="everything" xmlns="urn:oasis:names:tc:SPML:2:0" xmlns:dsml="urn:oasis:names:tc:DSML:2:0:core">
<data>
<dsml:attr name="objectclass">
<dsml:value>Users</dsml:value>
</dsml:attr>
<dsml:attr name="UserID">
<dsml:value>JohnDoe</dsml:value>
</dsml:attr>
<dsml:attr name="FirstName">
<dsml:value>John</dsml:value>
</dsml:attr>
<dsml:attr name="LastName">
<dsml:value>Doe</dsml:value>
</dsml:attr>

and the XSL i am trying is :

<xsl:for-each select="@name">
<xsl:value-of select="." />
</xsl:for-each>

<xsl:value-of select="." />
</xsl:element>
</xsl:for-each>
</addRequest>

</xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>


The Output I am getting is :

objectclass Users UserID JohnDoe FirstName John LastName Doe OrganizationName XellerateUsers XellerateType EndUser Role FullTime Password welcome

but it should be like :

<objectclass>Users</objectclass>
<UserID>JohnDoe</UserID>
<FirstName>John</FirstName>
<LastName>Doe</LastName>
<OrganizationName>XellerateUsers</OrganizationName>
<XellerateType>EndUser</XellerateType>
<Role>FullTime</Role>
<Password>welcome</Password>

Should be:

<xsl:element name="{@name}">
<xsl:value-of select="following-sibling::dsml:value[1]"/>
</xsl:element>
</xsl:for-each>

You aren't trying to view the result as html are you?
