Oleg GorSubject: Transform the XML Scheme with attributes to the XML Scheme with elements
Author: Oleg Gor
Date: 22 Feb 2008 11:47 AM
Please, help! I work the first week, and to me have given the task. Xlt I know a little. We have a scheme with attributes, here such

<xs:schema xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
<xs:element name="school">
<xs:complexType>
<xs:sequence>
<xs:element name="teacher">
<xs:complexType>
<xs:attribute name="FirstName" type="xs:string" />
<xs:attribute name="LastName" type="xs:string" />
</xs:complexType>
</xs:element>
<xs:element name="pupil">
<xs:complexType>
<xs:attribute name="FirstName" type="xs:string" />
<xs:attribute name="LastName" type="xs:string" />
</xs:complexType>
</xs:element>
</xs:sequence>
</xs:complexType>
</xs:element>
</xs:schema>

It is necessary using XSLT to receive the scheme with elements, here such

<xs:schema xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
<xs:element name="school">
<xs:complexType>
<xs:sequence>
<xs:element name="teacher">
<xs:complexType>
<xs:sequence>
<xs:element name="FirstName"> </xs:element>
<xs:element name="LastName"> </xs:element>
</xs:sequence>
</xs:complexType>
</xs:element>
<xs:element name="pupil">
<xs:complexType>
<xs:sequence>
<xs:element name="FirstName"> </xs:element>
<xs:element name="LastName"> </xs:element>
</xs:sequence>
</xs:complexType>
</xs:element>
</xs:sequence>
</xs:complexType>
</xs:element>
</xs:schema>

Tony LavinioSubject: Transform the XML Scheme with attributes to the XML Scheme with elements

It is not clear from your question that this is a Stylus Studio
question. For general XSLT questions, please use the xsl-list
run by Mulberry Technologies.

If you are a user of our product, please provide the version number
and we will attempt to help further (but actually, xsl-list is
still the best place for general XSLT questions).
