Using < (less than) operator

Hi,
I need to run a scenario on a specific element ID range, using the following condition:
<xsl:for-each select="PricingPackageCatalog/Packages/Package[@id<'1021637']">
I need to define the range to be less than the above number, and get an error that a '<' character cannot be used in attribute 'select'.
Can you please advise what would be a valid statement?
Thanks,
Sharon

Thanks. Do I simply replace < with < in the same location of the statement?
I tried that (see below) and get the error "undetermined entity reference, 'lt' "
<xsl:for-each select="PricingPackageCatalog/Packages/Package[@id < '1001927']">

It's "unterminated" not "undetermined", and that's because you need
the semicolon. As the previous poster said, use < - four characters.

Great - that works!
Thanks a lot,
