Tizo NashSubject: Best xQuery engine?
Author: Tizo Nash
Date: 03 Feb 2008 04:29 PM

Hello all,

I'm looking for a xQuery engine for my lightweight application. I googled a lot and found many xQuery engines, some with open source. But I'm confused. Which one is best engine available out there?

My selection criteria would be based on speed, efficiency and cost in order.

Any help on this would be very much appreciated
Thanking you in anticipation,

You asked the same question on the DataDirect XQuery discussion forum. Same answer... "best engine" is a very subjective matter; and any honest answer would strongly depend on the use case you have in mind.

As developers of DataDirect XQuery, we can only encourage you to take a look at DataDirect XQuery; you'll find a lot of material describing our XQuery engine, as well as the chance to download and try it for free on http://www.xquery.com
