Florent GeorgesSubject: XSLT stack trace in case of error
Author: Florent Georges

Hi

I'm using Stylus Studio 2007, Enterprise release 2 (build 894k). I didn't find a way to get a dump of the XSLT stack trace in case of error evaluating an XSLT stylesheet.

By XSLT stack trace, I mean something like Saxon SA outputs in case of error, for instance:

Error on line 51 of style.xsl:
ERR007: Error message
In evaluation of variable gg:gg9814147 at line 52 of style.xsl
In template at line 45 in style.xsl
Applied from line 40 of style.xsl
In function fg:f called from line 27 in style.xsl
In template at line 25 in style.xsl
Applied from line 40 of style.xsl
In function fg:f called from line 21 in style.xsl
In template nana at line 18 in style.xsl
Applied from line 40 of style.xsl
In function fg:f called from line 21 in style.xsl
In template nana called from line 12 of style.xsl
In template at line 6 in style.xsl
Called from external application

Is there a way to ask Stylus to output such info?

Thank you in advance for any clue. Regards,

--drkm

Hi,
the stack trace is displayed only while debugging, it is not added to the error message; we'll consider your request for a future version of Stylus.

Thanks,
Alberto
