This is probably a dumb question, but I'm a novice to the whole XSL domain. I want to be able to create an MS-Word doc from XML+XSL* and I can't find anything on how to do this (or if it is possible). I am able to make a flow work for PDF though StylusStudio. Microsoft themselves aren't much help either.

Any suggestions - even where to start looking?

BTW - I am using StylusStudio Enterprise Edition 2007 Release 2

Thanks

Bernard Murphy

Starting from Microsoft Office Word 2003 you can create document using an XML dialect called WordML

Therefore you can use XSLT or XQuery to create dynamic content for Office Word

Here is a trivial document example

Hope this helps

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<?mso-application progid="Word.Document"?>
<w:wordDocument
xmlns:w="http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/word/2003/wordml"
xml:space="preserve">
<w:body>
<w:p>
<w:r>
<w:t>Hello World</w:t>
</w:r>
</w:p>
</w:body>
</w:wordDocument>
