Charles CookSubject: sequelink 5.4 does not appear in dropdown list of db's
Author: Charles Cook

I installed sequelink 5.4 to allow my 2007 enterprise suite rlse 2 to connect to odbc sources. The manager appears to be installed properly and the services are running, and the dsn is spcified. However, when I open stylus studio and go to file explorer and attempt to add the odbc source I do not see the sequelink option, only db2, informix, mssql, oracle and sybase.

Any suggestions?

thanks in advance

(ps, I searched the forum but didn't find any specific assistance for this - it might have been my oversight and the issue has already been addressed...)

Hi Charles,

Sequelink was one database drivers supported by DB to XML DataSource that has been discontinued.

What database product you would like to connect and what kind task you are trying to accomplish?

Thanks

I have a need to connect to mysql, msaccess and other databases not listed in the drop down menu. I am in the process of implementing an inventory system that uses xml - Your product would be ideal for my development environment which is why I purchased it. I am converting data from other systems to the new format which is largely dependent on xml.

thanks for you very fast response

Charlie,
MySQL will be supported in v2008, coming later this year; MSAccess will be probably supported a few month later.

Hope this helps.
