Victoria LuSubject: Where can I get a special character/symbol chart?
Author: Victoria Lu

In my XSLT code I want to replace some special characters.
eg. using: " " as a thin space.
Here is part of my code:

<xsl:template match="tps:c[@type='Bullets - Numbered']">
<xsl:element name="tps:c">
<xsl:attribute name="type">
<xsl:value-of select="@type"/>
</xsl:attribute> <xsl:apply-templates/>
</xsl:element>
</xsl:template>

Where can I get this chart or table?

Hi Victoria,
according to the Unicode charts, 0x8201 is not a space (see http://www.unicode.org/cgi-bin/GetUnihanData.pl?codepoint=8201 for a picture of it); anyhow, you can display the list of characters supported by any font by invoking the Edit | Insert Unicode Char menu command (or Ctrl-I). If you want a complete list of the Unicode characters, you can browse the http://www.unicode.org/charts/charindex.html web page.

Hope this helps,
Alberto
