Hi all,

I'm trying to develop a web service, and I wanted to see how Stylus Studio can help me create a web service. I own Stylus Studio 2007, Enterprise Edition release 2.

I'm not too worried about the client-side code, since it's pretty well documented on the Stylus Studio website. Unfortunately, it seems like all the web services examples (e.g. the WS Call Composer) presuppose an existing web service.

Some notes on what I have:
1) I have created a WSDL file and it refers to an XSD schema that will store the data on the server side.
2) I'm planning on using Axis2. I saw some Stylus Studio documentation which refers to Axis 1.3, but I am hoping to stick with the "latest and greatest" version of Axis2.
3) I've got the Eclipse IDE, along with some Axis2 plugins for Eclipse which I've already used to create and deploy a simple web service (this was before I purchased Stylus Studio).

My basic steps for a successful web service are:
1) Create WSDL and XSD (done)
2) Mystery step to autogenerate server code using Stylus Studio...
3) Somehow end up with a WAR file for Axis2.

Any ideas/tutorials/advice on how I should proceed?

Hi Matthew,
in order to create the server-side part of a web service, you need to code some operation in a language of your choice, and this operation cannot be automated by Stylus Studio. What we can do for you is taking an XQuery document that you wrote inside Stylus Studio (e.g. using Mapper) and publish it as a web service, automatically generating the WSDL that matches its arguments.
