Very often the validate and well formed buttons and the validate on the schema menu are grayed out. I then can not validate my schemas. How do I maintain the facility to validate my schemas? This is new behavior for Stylus Studio. I have the 2007 Enterprise Suite Release 2, Build 894m. The Java virtual machine is 1.60.02-b06.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Robert,
the validate and indent buttons in the XMLSchema toolbar become briefly unavailable when the text view has been changed, and the diagram is accessing it to rebuild the graphical view.

The validate and well formed buttons and the validate on the schema menu are grayed out. The only message, which is at the top, that I get is, "Expected end of tag schema not found (2,1) Errors." Since my schema does have an </schema> at the end and is over 400 lines long, this is useless. The graphics engine is blocked. However, I seldom use it. I then can not validate or check my schemas or check for well-formedness. How do I maintain the facility to validate my schemas? This is new behavior for Stylus Studio. I have the 2007 Enterprise Suite Release 2, Build 894m. The Java virtual machine is 1.60.02-b06.
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Hi Robert,
the buttons remain disabled if the text of the schema is not valid XML; if you cannot find the reason of the error, please send it to stylus-field-report@progress.com and we will have a look at it.
