Hi,

I am using three xml files to create one xml file. In part of my xsl, I need to display some text from two documents and then display some more text from the third document. The problem is that the text from the third document is in the middle of the tag.

The xsl looks like this:

<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
xmlns:rdf="http://www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns#"
xmlns:smw="http://smw.ontoware.org/2005/smw#"
xmlns:attribute="http://datafedwiki.wustl.edu/index.php/Special:URIResolver/Attribute-3A"
xmlns:fed="http://datafed.net/xs/Catalog"
xmlns:wiki="http://www.mediawiki.org/xml/export-0.3/">
<xsl:output method="xml" encoding="ISO-8859-1" omit-xml-declaration="yes"
standalone="no" indent="no" />
<xsl:template math="/">
<mediawiki>
<page>
<revision>
<text>
<xsl:value-of select="document('document1.xml')/rdf:RDF/smw:Thing/attribute:dataset"/>
<xsl:value-of select="document('document2.xml')/fed:dataset/fed:data/fed:dataset_icon"/>
NEED DOCUMENT 3 DATA HERE</text>
</revision>
</page
</mediawiki>
</xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>

The document 3 xml looks like this:
<mediawiki xmlns="http://www.mediawiki.org/xml/export-0.3/">
<page>
<revision>
<text>{{Dataset
|DatasetTitle=Surface Monitoring Data for PM2.5 and Ozone
|Domain=Aerosol
|SamplePlatform=Network
}}

===User-provided Metadata===

__TOC__
==== Lineage====
==== Websites ====
====Papers====
====Automatic Searches====</text>
</revision>
</page>
</mediawiki>

I would like to pull everything after the }} that is in <text>.
Also, I would like to do this in XSLT 1.0 if possible.

Thank you,
Mark

Hi Mark,

You should be able to use the XPath 1.0 substring-after() function like:

<xsl:value-of select="substring-after( Document()/root/text, '}}')"
