Hello,

Total newbie in XML/XSLT space... I'm trying to gen an XHTML based on the following XML using XSLT:

<List>
<Program>
<Name>Program1</Name>
<Date>6-5-2007</Date>
</Program>
<Program>
<Name>Program2</Name>
<Date>6-5-2007</Date>
<Details>
<ID>11111</ID>
<Phone>5551212</Phone>
<Email>test@test.com</Email>
</Details>
<Details>
<ID>11112</ID>
<Phone>5551213</Phone>
<Email>test1@test.com</Email>
</Details>
</Program>
</List>

Here's my problem... I need two reports from this XML... one in which I display all the <Program>s and the first <Details> for that <Program> and then I drill down into another report which shows all the <Details> for a given <Program>

My XSL says

<xsl:template match="/">
<table>
<tr>
<td>Program</td>
<td>Date</td>
<td>Id</td>
<td>Phone</td>
<td>Email</td>
</tr>
<xsl:for-each select"/List/Program">
<tr>
<td><xsl:value-of select="Name"/></td>
<td><xsl:value-of select="Date"/></td>
<td><xsl:value-of select="/List/Program/Details[0]/ID"/></td>
<td><xsl:value-of select="/List/Program/Details[0]/Phone"/></td>
<td><xsl:value-of select="/List/Program/Details[0]/Email"/></td>
</tr>
</xsl:for-each>
</table>
</xsl:template>

But apparently it doesn't work... The page shows the Program Name and Date but not the details... Trying to figure out how to get the items under the first <Details> tag to display on this report...

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks and appreciate your responses.

xslt uses 1 as the first index. Replace the [0]'s with [1]'s.
