Steve RSubject: SS Error: Segment UNB: Segment not in proper location in this message

I receive the following error when trying to open an EDIFACT file with multiple UNB envelopes. One UNB envelope works, but multiple UNB's in one file seems to fail with this message.

java.lang.RuntimeException: java.io.IOException: #D.05B.D05B Segment UNB: Segment not in proper location in this message (file:///c:/data/EDI/20070530-133048624-3213.edi:51) {close}

Ok, if I turn off "Strict segment order checking" I can open the file. However, this presents another problem that the GROUPS_ are no longer defined, so my map is not valid. Without the groups I cannot determine the relationship between related segments such as LIN and QTY.

Sounds like the parser is not resetting properly.
Could you send a sample of an offending file to
stylus-field-report@progress.com?

We have added a feature to the EDIFACT parser to detect subsequent
UNB-UNZ packages within the same stream. It will be in the 894h
release, which will be available to all 2007r2 users free of charge.

We'll let you know personally when it is available for downloading;
it is in the QA cycle now.

894i is now generally available for download, and it includes
a solution to this problem.
