I have a xsl fo to generate a pdf document from xml. the pdf has to have link to different sections within the document. the source and destination of links are not known in advance. How to have the dynamic links generated.

ex:
there is a link from one word
<word>
in chapter 1 to another line

3.1 word
.......
.......
in chapter 3, The only thing matching is the letters of "word", how do I add link over here.
Thanks and regards,
Seema.

Use basic-link, then define the attribute "id" in the target fo:block
http://www.w3.org/TR/xsl/#fo_basic-link

<fo:basic-link
internal-destination="myID"
text-decoration="underline">Click here</fo:basic-link>

<fo:block id="myID">
...
</fo:block>

Hope this helps

Thanks Ivan, but this would work If I know my destination before hand, but I have a large number of links to be given, I mean I am doing things in a loop. any word enclosed in angular braces has to be assigned a link in the document and the destinations are not known, only by matching of the letters of word, the link has to be assigned. I have tried with generate-id, but I somehow went wrong. Could you please tell me if using generate-id in this case would work and how to use it.
thanks and Regards,
Seema.
