Hi Everybody

I have a Problem to work with Stylus Studio 2007 XML Enterprise Suite from the Command Line.

following:

Before, I had Stylus Studio Home Edition. I hadn't any Problems to work with this Application from the Command Line. Then I bought the 2007 Enterprise Suite, installed it, registered the Software and deinstalled the Home Edition.
After this, I try to validate a XML File over the Command Line with following Command:

StylusValidator [-schema schema.xsd] perstamm.xml

I found the right Syntax for this Command in the Documentation which is integrated in the Enterprise 2007 Suite.

Then the Command Line display following Error Message:

'StylusValidator' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

I haven't ever seen this message befor, when i work with the Home Edition. And the same Message is displaying, when i try to convert a XML Document with the 'StylusXslt'.

So know someone here what's the problem?!
what can i do, that the command works over the command line?!
Please help me, i haven't got a idea to find a solution for this problem...

Many thanks in advance!

Hi Andrew,

The error is most likely because you don't have stylus studio bin directory in the PATH, use the following command

SET PATH=%PATH%;"C:\Program Files\Stylus Studio 2007 XML Enterprise Suite\bin"

The square brackets indicate that a parameter is optional, the correct syntax is

StylusValidator -schema schema.xsd perstamm.xml

Hope this helps
