Bill HumphriesSubject: Importing other XSLT Processor
Author: Bill Humphries

I use Stylus to develop XSLT that will be deployed using Apache Xalan. It'd be nice to have access to the Xalan extension functions (like the ones that allow you to grab preceding and following nodes in sort order.)

Will Stylus' architecture allow it to plug in other XSLT processors, perhaps as the other processors start implementing the proposed API for XSLT engines (whose TLI I forget at the moment.)

We are considering this for future versions.
