Keesjan Van BunningenSubject: Bug parade? / closing tag missing
Author: Keesjan Van Bunningen

I suspect there's a FAQ or Bug Parade for Stylus Editor (is there any?!), but I couldn't find one so I'm posting my question here.

I used a ListItem template in my XSL like this:
<LI><xsl:apply-templates/></LI>

This results in HTML like this:
<LI>item 1
<LI>item 2
<LI>item 3</LI>

Only the last ListItem contains the </LI> closing tag whereas I expected that _all_ ListItems would have it.

Is this a bug?

I'm using Stylus version 1.0 (1.04.02).

Browsers should accept this syntax. If you prefer strict XML output, select the XML output handler under Tools | Options or use (xsl:output method="xml") as a top-level tag in your stylesheet.

You should consider upgrading to Stylus 2.0; there are significant HTML output handler enhancements, among other features.
