Oliver RennertSubject: Duplicated, unused nodes are removed when reopening the stylesheet

Hello Support

In the mapper view there is an option to duplicate a node on the target side. When reopening the mapping all unused nodes are removed.

This behaviour is unwanted!

Please imagine, at the end of the day you duplicate a substructured node and start mapping two fields.

The next morning you come into the office and can throw away your stuff, because it does not show the remaining fields you want to map to.

A quick hint to a workaround or a solution is greatly appreciated.

Brgds,
Oliver Rennert

If the duplicated nodes are used as targets in the mapping definition, they should not disappear from a working session to another. If they are unused, then they are garbage collected; looks like that's what you don't want to happen.

I'll add a PCR to have an option that allows duplicate/custom nodes to be preserved across sessions.

Thanks.

I have the same issue. What's the status about this and do you plan to improve this behaviour? Best regards, Tobi
