M KlineSubject: Learning XML/XSLT
Author: M Kline

Hello,

I have the trial Enterprise version of StylusStudio 2007. I'm hoping my
company will purchase a license for it once my trial period is up. I've
received help from both Ivan and Tony which is much appreciated. I guess
my question is more about learning XML/XSLT. I've "tweaked" existing XSLT
to get other results of things, but have not gotten too deep into all of it
to really understand how it works.

Does anyone have suggestions on how someone learns XML / XSLT or is it just
a "work with it...learn it" sort of thing? I realize there are
books....many MANY books but which ones and is that typically how people
learn? I also do not know Java but have seen a lot of postings about
that. Is learning Java recommended as well?

Thanks,

Mary

Mary,

In my opinion the best book is "XSLT: Programmer's Reference"

Hope this helps
