I've just downloaded the home edition for evaluation but can't seem to get into the Xpath query editor. The button is present but always greyed out. Should this be available in home edition please? Thanks in advance for your help.

No, the XPath query feature of the XML editor is available only in Professional and Enterprise Suites.
