Hello!
I want to write check marks in my output (xml->pdf). I use the unicode ઙ but with no result. Can I do something (in my font setup or?) to succeed?

Hi Kirsten

The following works for me, you have to be sure that you select a font that support the unicode symbol.

<fo:block font-family="Arial Unicode MS"><xsl:value-of select="concat('✓', $title)"/></fo:block>

Hi Ivan.
I know that my check mark symbol is in the Zapf Dingbats font. I guess I should purchase this font and then refer to it in my stylesheet like you do: font-family="Arial Unicode MS". Correct?

Kristen,

You will need to have that font where the PDF is generated.
May be you could use an image instead of a character.
