Subject:2 stylus studio newbie questions Author:Jerry Janofsky Date:11 Jul 2006 11:34 AM
I have two stylus studio newbie questions.
1) When I try to do a "find", the find dialog box always disappears after the first search. To do a "find next" I have to open the dialog again. Is this a bug or do I need to set something?
2)Stylus studio wants to edit my xsl files even if I don't change anything. This is inconvenient for files that I include in a project just for reference purposes. Many of my files have "readonly" atributes. I already have "Do not add Created with Sytlus Studio comment at the end of a document" checked. What else is causing this to happen?

Stylus Studio uses a different metaphor you need to hit F3 to repeat the search. Have a look under the menu "Edit"

Do you do any interaction with the XSLT editor? are you changing the input document?
Do you see the star symbol in the document title-bar?
There few options: you can turn off to prevent Stylus Studio to save the document when is modified
Uncheck "Automatically save ..." under
Tools -> Options -> Application Settings
