Finding it hard to write an xsl for the following. Any help would be appreciated

Sample Source XML:
___________________

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<root>
<keys>
<key>
<name>name1</abcd>
<value>value1</value>
</key>
<key>
<name>name2</abcd>
<value>value2</value>
</key>
<key>
<name>name3</abcd>
<value>value3</value>
</key>
</keys>
</root>

Transformed output:
____________________
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<newroot>
<keys>
<name1>value1</name1>
<name2>value2</name2>
<name3>value3</name3>
</newroot>

Can you re-post with well-formed documents?

Your input document is not well-formed, and your output document
is missing a closing element, which makes it hard to know how you
want your output to be grouped.

Or, better yet, for general XSLT questions a more appropriate place
to go is xsl-list run by Mulberry Technologies.
See the opening paragraph on http://www.stylusstudio.com/xsllist/
for links to the guidelines, or fill in the short-cut sign-up form
on the far right to join.
