Dan UhlarSubject: Generating DeNormalized Schema
Author: Dan Uhlar

I have a normalized schema (i.e., <include> statments) and I want to generate a standalone, DeNormalized version of the schema. Is there an easy way to do this in SS?

Thanks,
Dan

The way to do that in Stylus Studio is to use the XML Schema diagram editor refactoring capabilities; right click on an element/type in your original schema, select Refactoring > Copy and in a new schema right click and choose Refactoring > Paste.

Stylus Studio will copy not only the definition of the chosen element/type, but also all its dependencies (that could spawn multiple imported schemas in its original definition).

If your schema doesn't have a logical root/entry point, you may need to repeat those steps multiple times.
