T RSubject: Building TransforMiiX standalone (Mozilla's XSLT processor)
Author: T R
Date: 20 Jun 2006 05:44 AM
Hi everybody,

at the moment I'm trying to checkout (CVS) and run TransforMiiX as stand alone application.
The howto can be found at:
http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Building_TransforMiiX_standalone as well as http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Configuring_Build_Options
Using Suse 10.0 - please inform me if I missed something but I proceeded as follows:
Creating the .mozconfig file under /opt/mozilla/ containing:
#####################
TX_EXE=1
mk_add_options BUILD_MODULES="xpcom transformiix"
ac_add_options --enable-standalone-modules="xpcom transformiix"
mozilla/client.mk
mozilla/build/unix/modules.mk
mozilla/build
mozilla/config
mozilla/expat
mozilla/extensions/transformiix
mozilla/include
mozilla/allmakefiles.sh
mozilla/client.mk
mozilla/aclocal.m4
mozilla/configure
mozilla/configure.in
mozilla/Makefile.in
#####################

afterwards entering to following in the shell:
#####################
cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs-mirror.mozilla.org:/cvsroot login
# type the password anonymous
cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs-mirror.mozilla.org:/cvsroot co mozilla/client.mk
cd mozilla
make -f client.mk checkout MOZ_CO_PROJECT=suit
#####################
where suit stands for Mozilla (not Firefox, XUL application launcher, etc.) - description of snipped to enter in shell at: http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Mozilla_Source_Code_Via_CVS

till here everything works fine, but a further shell entire "make -f client.mk build" to start the build yields two errors.

Did I miss(understood/interpret) something?

HTH

transformiix newbee ;)

This is pretty far off-topic for these forums, which are the
support location for Stylus Studio and not for Mozilla.

You could ask on the public news forums for Mozilla; point your
news reader to news.mozilla.org and look for an appropriate forum
under the mozilla.dev hierarchy.
