dreuzel prummelSubject: My XQUERY on Berkley DBXML seems not to like any where statement
Author: dreuzel prummel

im'm working with Berkley XMLDB XQUERY FLOWER

i've a very strange behaviour
xml := <Uit aan='Bok' Remark-'dfsdsdfsdfsd' to='sdfsdfsdfds' ref1='sdsdsddsf'/>

for $x in collection("boek/uit.dbxml")/Uit order by $x/@aan return <test Id='{$x/@aan}' Rem='{$x/@Remark}' to='{$x/@aan}' ref1='{$x/@ref1}'/>

offers me a full result set .... 700 records
inclufding the aan values

as I include the where statement ( records exist with that value 0 records are returned ??)

for $x in collection("boek/uit.dbxml")/Uit[@aan = 'Bok'] order by $x/@Remark return <test Id='{$x/@aan}' Rem='{$x/@Remark}' to='{$x/@aan}' ref1='{$x/@ref1}'/>

for $x in collection("boek/uit.dbxml")/Uit where $x[@aan='Bok'] order by $x/@Rrmark return <test Id='{$x/@aan}' Rem='{$x/@Remark}' to='{$x/@aan}' ref1='{$x/@ref1}'/>
for $x in collection("boek/uit.dbxml")/Uit where $x[@aan='Bok']
for $x in collection("boek/uit.dbxml")/Uit[@aan = 'Bok']

Any idea what i'm doing wrong ????

You are asking your question on the wrong forum; DB XML questions should be asked on the proper Sleepycat discussion lists.
