Does stylus studio provide api to use xquery using vc++ 6.0 ? I've few xml files and i want an xquery engine which can be called from an app built using vc++ 6.0. Also i need a support for win98 and Win ME along with win2k, winnt, xp and up. Does Stylus studio suite my requirement?

Stylus Studio doesn't provide APIs to the underlying XQuery engine it uses, even if that's a C++ engine; you can access the Stylus Studio XQuery processor from the command line, but not programmatically.

You can look into either Sleepycat DB XML (C++), or Saxon .NET (if a manged code solution would fit your needs) if you need non-Java XQuery engines.
