How can one produce multiple html pages with a single xml file.

For example. Lets assume i have following xml structure:

<doc>
<news>
<_1>something</_1>
<_2>something else</_2>
...
</news>

<teams>
<team1>something</team1>
<team2>something</team2>
....
</teams>
</doc>

And lets assume i want to make html page that shows the teams and whatever the nodes <team1>, etc have written inside them, and i want to add a link on this page that brings one to a new html page where the news are listed?

How can this be done?

You can either create two separate XSLT files that generate the two sets of information with the proper cross links; or you can play with generation of multiple outputs in XSLT 2.0 (http://www.w3.org/TR/xslt20/#element-result-document).
