Hi all,

How can I remove a record from my xml? may be the first one of this xml, the <NO> may be start from X rather than 1

<Level1>
<Level2>
<Rec><NO>1</NO></Rec>
<Rec><NO>2</NO></Rec>
<Rec><NO>3</NO></Rec>
</Level2>
</Level1>

Hi, David. Unless you are talking about XML hosted on a database or stored in some in-memory structure like DOM, "removing" an XML element is something that is typically accomplished by transforming the original XML document into other XML that does not contain the element you want to remove.

XSLT and XQuery are good technologies for such transformations, and both allow you to implement any logic you require to identify the elements you want removed, for example.

But if i want to just get the record from second record to the last one?

The XSLT position() function should get you where you need to be.
