Stylus Studio,
I'm a licensed user of Stylus Studio 6 XML Pro R3. I'd like to suggest that licensed users of SS be able to run a copy of SS on a desktop AND a laptop. It is a pain to only be able to run SS on one machine due to the current EULA licensing agreement. (Especially when a person uses a desktop and a laptop every day.) How about a licensing scheme similar to this one:
GRANT OF LICENSE. ZZZZZ grants you the following rights provided that you comply with all terms and conditions of this EULA:
1.1 Installation and use. You may:
(a) install and use a copy of the Software on one personal computer or other device; and
(b) install an additional copy of the Software on a second, portable device for the exclusive use of the primary user of the first copy of the Software.
I don't think it would be a big deal for the licensing server to check for a maximum of two installations. Thanks.

John,
we used to handle installation and activatation of Stylus Studio licenses very friendly. Implementing your suggestion, it would work very well from a purely legal point of view; but from a practical standpoint, our licensing server would have to allow single licenses to activate on two machines; 10 licenses on 20; and so on...
The problem is that we don't live in a particularly honest world, and license abuse has been in the past a serious problem for Stylus Studio sales. As it often happens, we inevitably end up causing some disruption to many honest people in order to protect ourselves from the bad behavior of others.

Minollo,
So how about a person purchases the first license at whatever the going price is and can then purchase a second license at a "special" price, or something to that effect? Thanks.
