pascal monfilsSubject: transformer.transform gives Exception
Author: pascal monfils
Date: 11 Aug 2005 08:48 AM

I'm trying to write a DOM object to a file by adding the DOCTYPE.

I create a source and result to be passed as argument to the Transformer.trasform(doc, result) method.

When I execute the method, I receive the following Exception :

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Unknown type of source class javax.xml.transform.dom.DOMSource
at net.sf.saxon.event.Sender.send(Sender.java:141)
at net.sf.saxon.IdentityTransformer.transform(IdentityTransformer.java:28)
at .... (rest of stackTrace omitted)

Running under Tomcat 5.0 and jdk 1.4.2
object's classes are :
doc : java.xml.Transform.dom.DOMSource
result : javax.xml.transform.stream.StreamResult
transformer : net.sf.sexon.IdentityTransformer

Thanks in advance for your help
