Hi,
I love SStudio, but I noticed one thing. When closing a file, there still is some reference to it kept in memory and the file is kept 'in use'. When trying to delete a folder that holds a file that was open in SStudio, access is denied. When closing SStudio, the folder can be deleted.
From experience I learned that this typically can be caused by using FindFirst and FindNext (Windows calls to traverse a folder) loop, without having the FindClose that is needed to close references to found files. Maybe this helps.

Yes i can. it is really pretty simple to replicate. Open an XSL file, execute a translation. Close the xml file that was used in the translation. try to delete the folder that holds the xml file and it will fail...
Can't really send more details than that really...

Bart,
I tried several combinations but i am not able to reproduce it.
Are you sure that nothing else is holding a lock to the diretory?
for example a DOS console open on the same path would do that.
If you find out more details please let us know.
Thank You for you feedbacks

Yes, I'm pretty sure. Just had it again the other day. This is what I did then:
1) open an xml file
2) do a translation using an xsl file (using a scenario with the open xml file as the example file).
3) modify something in the xml file.
4) do the translation again.
5) close the xml file, leaving stylus studio open
6) delete it -> gives an error.
I'm getting used to it (in fact was used to it due to a similar error in another XML editor (which was confirmed by the author by the way)) and close stylus studio after I'm done. This is a bit cumbersome because of the longish startup times of Stylus Studion, but it's not a real showstopper for me.
Maybe something on my machine, but can't tell you what. possible related software that I'm using: McAfee anti virus sftware, McAfee firewall software, Microsoft anti-spyware beta.
