Scott SaylerSubject: Get Xpath from an XSD
Author: Scott Sayler

I'm trying to generate an Xpath from an XSD. I can get the Xpath from an XML Document, but I can't do that from an XSD. I would appreciate any help with this matter. Thanks.

Hi Scott,

Open your xsd as XML document. In the Open file dialog click the black arrow inside the open button you will be able to choose which editor use to open a specific document.

Hope this helps

I guess I hit send too soon.

Stylus Studio opens xsd using the schema editor anyway because it detects the xsd namespace.

We are investigation to add the "copy XPath" to schema Diagram and schema Tree for the next version.

Sorry for the confusion
Ivan
