Hi John,
if you have the right to invoke an external executable from your JavaScript code you can use the StylusXql command line processor that ships with Stylus Studio, or invoke java.exe on the Saxon 8 JAR file. I don't think there is an XQuery processor exposing an ActiveX interface (yet).

Do you know if there is a free 'runtime' XQuery engine included w/Stylus Studio (or other) that may be distributed with a stand-alone application? Also, do you know of anyone working on an ActiveX interface that you may disclose?
