Peter,

If you would like to add a file to the project click "Add File to Project", the open file dialog will pop up.

If you would like to add the current document to the project use the toolbar button "Add Document to Project"

You can also drag & drop files or folders from Windows Explorer to the project tree.

The "Other Documents" project folder is designed to group documents that you open occasionally but not necessarily are part of project or may be opened indirectly by Stylus for instance during a transformation.

Hope this helps
Ivan

Let me clarify - add a new Blank document.

NOT one that has been previously saved as in "File/New"

Sorry for not being clear enough.

Thanks

You can create a new empty document via File -> New or clicking on the very first toolbar button
Documents created and not yet saved can not be added to the project and forcing the user to save at creation time seems to be undesirable.

Yes, that is my point !

All functionality which is in the menu, toolbar such as adding new documents
need to be available off the right "click" event.

Close is also missing ! from the right mouse "click".

Forcing the user to save is terrible, not just undesirable.

Thanks

Pete

Your opinion has been noted.

Close for ?

Project: Stylus has always one active project by design, so there is no "Close Project".
You can create a new project that replaces the current.

Document: the project item doesn't have any state correlation with the open documents
so "close" doesn't have too much sense either.

The project tree context menu exposes only operations that are project specific.

Thank You for your feedbacks
Ivan
