Can you give us more details? How do you create the text block? Do you
connect it to an element/attribute in the target structure?

did you try the latest version. we released version 5.3 about a week ago which contains a lot of
new features and some fixes.
by the way, you mentioned you linked a text block to target attribute, this will
generate <xsl:attribute name="xxx">your literal text</xsl:attribute>. if you simply
want a literal attribute value, like <book bookid="123"/>, you can right click on the attribute node
and choose 'Set Text Value' from context menu.

Did you link the text block into the target element or other block
before saving?
