Does anyone know how to parse through the attributes of an element?

In other words, does anyone have an example that shows where will work?

I'm trying to dynamically map attributes to become an element by the same name.

Hi,

Here is a code fragment that iterates through all attributes of an element foo and prints them:

(xsl:for-each select="/foo/@*")
Attribute (xsl:value-of select="name()"/) has value:(xsl:value-of select="."/)
(/xsl:for-each)

I hope this helps,

- Omri

Omri,

Thanks. But I found out my problem is related to the xsl:attribute bugs mentioned by "peoplesam". I was trying to create an Identity xsl file through the use of xsl:elemenet and xsl:attribute (as opposed to using xsl:copy). Under the "*" match, I placed the following:

(xsl:element name="{name()}")
(xsl:for-each select="@*")
(xsl:attribute name="{name()}")
(xsl:value-of select="."/)
(/xsl:attribute)
(/xsl:for-each)
(xsl:apply-templates/)
(/xsl:element)

I guess this will work in the next version.

Thanks for your feedback,

Sean
