James NoeSubject: Loading files from server
Author: James Noe

I am having problems loading and saving files to the eXcelon server.

I select "Open", and click on the "eXcelon Servers" tab, and I select my XSL or XML file. However, when I try to load them, I get the following error:

"Stylus encountered a problem reading the file."

I have tried to load in XSL/XML from my own datastores, as well as the examples provided, and the same error occurs. The server is running on my local PC.

Stylus can read my files OK from the file system.

I get the inverse error ("Stylus encountered a problem saving the file.") when I try to save to a datastore.

Has anyone had the same/similar problems?

Kindest regards

The problem seems to have been related to me installing the program in a directory other than the default "ODI\excelon2.0" directory. Re-installing to this (the default) directory appears to have fixed the problem.

Regards,

James
