Subject:SS4.5.103m Crash: Just checked out XSLT Author:Lee Humphries Date:12 Jan 2003 08:44 PM
I had just started using Stylus. I had opened an XSLT that generated documentation from XSLTs (obviously including itself). I made a change to it, got the VSS warning about checking it out, then got a series of scenario warning messages informing me that the file had changed. Then crash.

This is the same crash that you and/or someone else reported on ssdn; we
are chasing it, but we have so far been unable to understand/reproduce it.
If there is anything peculiar (more than what you already mentioned) that
you can remember about it, or if you can find a pattern to reproduce it,
please let us know.

Sorry Minollo, nothing else peculiar, apart from an XSLT processing itself to produce HTML documentation.
The hard to reproduce crashes that I've been getting have common threads of on-going VSS and disk access and multiple files open.
With regard to the VSS checkout action I was performing at crash time, whenever I restart Stylus and reopen the project it's always apparent that the checkout itself was successfully completed.
