I am trying to create some html. I want to write a new table row every two elements. What I try fails because of mismatched tags in the XSLT (they would be matched in the resulting output). Any suggestions?

What I try is:

Message "clobbered" by html!

Try this:

<tr>
<xsl:for-each select="BulkProperty/Field[@Type='Combo']">
<td>
<input type="text" size="18" maxlength="25">
<xsl:attribute name="name"><xsl:value-of select="@Name"/></xsl:attribute>
<xsl:attribute name="value"><xsl:value-of select="@Value"/></xsl:attribute>
</input>
</td>
<xsl:if test="position() mod 2 = 0"></tr><tr></xsl:if>
</xsl:for-each>
</tr>

What about doing:
{xsl:if test="position() mode 2 = 0"}{xsl:text
disable-output-escaping="yes"}$lt;/tr$gt;$lt;tr$gt;{/xsl:text}{/xsl:if}

(where {==<, }==> and $==&)
That should let you do what you are trying to do.
