I have a large project file (approximately 500 Source controlled XML and XSL files) in Stylus Studio. My problem is that loading the project into Stylus Studio take minutes and results in a memory footprint in the region of 100Mb (compared to about 25Mb when I first start the program). Is there any reason for this? and is it possible to change the way projects are loaded so it is quicker and uses less memory??

We are aware of performance issues when handling large projects; these
issues are being addressed. When using large projects, you'll probably also notice a bad response time when using normal functionality of the application.
About the memory footprint, a project node's DOM is created in memory only
when the corresponding document is visible (as an MDI window); but in the
case of XSLT there are information which are loaded even when a document
has not yet been activated.
Again, this is something on which we are currently working; improvements
will be made available as public build updates to the existing 3.1 version.
